Scott Norman Case, 71, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Born on March 13, 1954, in Tonawanda, NY, Scott lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, gentleness, and overwhelming love for his family and friends.
Scott grew up in Sanborn, NY, and attended Starpoint High School. In his younger years, he was the lead singer for the band Bags. Later, Scott dedicated over 30 years to his career as a facility manager for Bally Fitness, where his work ethic and commitment shone brightly.
Scott cherished time with his family, especially during vacations and summers spent in Western New York. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he offered his skills and kindness to anyone in need. Known lovingly as “everyone’s Santa,” his generosity, warmth, and selflessness touched countless lives. His presence was a gift, and his legacy of compassion will be remembered by all who knew him.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joanne; son Christopher Case and his wife, Kim; grandsons Aidan and Brady; daughter Beth Ribbeck and her husband, Jeremy; granddaughter Gillian; grandsons KC, Jeremy, and Tyler, and Tyler’s wife, Riley; great-granddaughter Reagan; daughter Nancy Murphy and her husband, Shawn; grandsons Shawn and Rhys; sister Cheryl Singleton and her spouse, Rich. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Alvin; mother, Violet; sister, Nancy; and brothers, Michael and Mark.
Scott’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Beach Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at The Stratton’s.
