Thomas Eugene Spray

Thomas Eugene Spray, 71, of Satellite Beach, FL, peacefully passed away August 23, 2019 at his home. Tom was born in Flat River, MO to Ethel (Laws) and Lloyd Spray in 1947. Tom graduated from the University of Tennessee and married Teresa (Bellomy) Spray in 1970. Tom was an engineer who chose to end his career as a high school teacher in Knoxville, TN. Tom was an adventurer who traveled the world with his wife Teresa as an amateur archaeologist. Those who loved him know that he saw no sand dune was too high to climb, no song too long too sing, no story too long to tell, no trip too overwhelming to take, and no loved one that wasn't given all the love of his heart. His temper was slow to rise and his patience was ever-enduring. His sassy wit and quick sense of humor endeared him to all that knew him. Tom was the adoring husband of Teresa; inspiring father of Xantippi (Kevin) Teska; fun-loving, devoted grandfather of Xefrem, Xoe Bergman, and Abigail, Madeleine, Connor Teska and Alli Richards; loving brother of Carolyn (A.C.) Rogers; caring uncle of Pamela (Terry) Richards, Garrette (Val) McClure and Michael Rogers. As was his request, the family will have a private service at a later date.
