Catherine Louise Forbes

Catherine Louise Forbes, aged 77, passed away peacefully at home with her family on September 24, 2016.

Born on January 4, 1949, Catherine brought warmth, grace, and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. Described by those who knew her as a woman of "true class," she was a beloved spouse, stepmother, sister, and friend who left an indelible mark on her community and the hearts of her loved ones throughout her 77 years.

Catherine found immense joy in traveling, adopting shelter dogs, becoming a stepmother, and community outreach. Her compassionate spirit, dedication to helping others, and love for animals truly defined her life. Her legacy of love, strength, elegance, and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Kermit Forbes; her stepchildren, Nadene Forbes and Kermit Forbes Jr.; her brother, Paul Miller; and a wide circle of cherished friends. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Stewart Miller.
