Antonia Burkett

Antonia Rojo Burkett, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. Born in Valdepenas, Spain, and raised in Madrid, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family and a spirit of adventure. She married her husband, Norman L. Burkett, in 1959 and together they lived in Morocco, Libya, Germany and England before ultimately settling in the United States. She is now dancing in the heavens with Norman once again!

Antonia is survived by her three children, Nicolas (Kevin) Burkett-Caudell, Derrick (Annette) Burkett, and Jennifer (Dean) Theriot, her grandchildren, Sarah Ann Burkett, Ryan Derrick Burkett, Brittany Marie Meek, Conner Anthony Meek and Sydney Anne Meek, and 3 great grandchildren (Skylar, Scott, and Star). Antonia will be remembered for her striking presence, strong will, and deep loyalty to those she held close.
