Dallas Easton Mcdonel

Dallas Easton McDonel, age 9, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, held in the loving arms of his mother and father, Lindsey and James, and surrounded by the embrace of his devoted grandparents. Though his time on this earth was far too short, Dallas filled every moment with love, courage, and light.

Dallas was born on December 8, 2016, at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida. From the very beginning, he showed the heart of a fighter. He was born to and is deeply cherished by his parents, James and Lindsey McDonel, whose love and devotion were the foundation of his life.

Dallas is lovingly remembered by his maternal grandparents, Kim and Scott Souliere and Jeff and Janet Fisher. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts—Sean (Jennifer), Jared (Shannon), Austin (Jeni), and Kyle (Jessica)—as well as many cousins who adored him and brought him great joy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Michelle McDonel, whom he is now reunited with in peace.

A warrior since birth, Dallas became a fearless leader and advocate within the TBCK Syndrome community. His strength and resilience inspired countless people who were blessed to know his story. Dallas attended Challenger Elementary School, No Limits Academy, Abilities Plus Therapy, and T.I.K.I. Inc. Therapy, where he touched many hearts with his determination and spirit.

Above all else, Dallas loved his mommy, daddy, and family with a fierce and unconditional love. His favorite place in the world was Walt Disney World, especially when visiting his beloved pal, Mickey Mouse. Dallas found happiness in camping trips, swimming, adventurous rides in golf carts, enjoying good food, and playing endlessly with his treasured toys.

Dallas communicated through sign language and his iPad, sharing his joy and personality in his own beautiful way. He loved big and lived even bigger. He will forever be remembered for his radiant smile, expressive eyes and eyelashes, innocent beauty, and gentle yet heartfelt belly laughs. Dallas was a source of strength, love, and inspiration to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

A memorial service to celebrate Dallas’ life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at East Coast Church - Viera, located at 3475 Viera Boulevard, Viera, Florida 32940. A celebration of life will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, located at 8298 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida 32940.

Flowers are welcome and may be sent to East Coast Church – Viera, between 12 and 1:30 p.m.. or memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the TBCK Foundation in honor of Dallas, our precious TBCK angel.
