Kelly Ann Scheltmeyer
Jul 27, 1964 — Jun 30, 2026
Kelly Ann Scheltmeyer, 61, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on June 30, 2026 in Melbourne, Fl.
Born in New Rochelle, New York, Kelly was raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, and later lived in Patterson, New York, before moving to Florida in 2003 after being selected by The Home Depot to help open a new store in the Melbourne area. It was a move that reflected her dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic.
Kelly dedicated more than 33 years of her career to The Home Depot, where she served in upper management and earned the respect of those who worked alongside her. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she was an active participant in Team Depot, volunteering on projects throughout the surrounding communities to help rebuild homes for military veterans and renovate shelters for homeless women and families. She later became a valued member of the team at Regal Paints, where she truly enjoyed her work and the friendships she made. Her colleagues have shared many kind words about the positive impact she had on those around her.
Kelly was proud of her Italian heritage, her New York roots, and her Catholic faith. She had a generous heart, a quick wit, and a playful spirit that brought laughter wherever she went. She delighted in teasing her siblings, spoke her mind, and always seemed to have a little “Irish luck” on her side.
Kelly found joy in music of every era and genre, walks on the beach, trips to Cape Cod, cheering on her beloved New York Jets, New York Giants, and New York Mets, following NASCAR, admiring vintage muscle cars, cooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
Kelly was predeceased by her father, William Joseph Scheltmeyer of Red Hook, New York, and her mother, Gale Blauvelt Scheltmeyer, formerly of Red Hook, New York, and later of Rockledge, Florida.
She is survived by her sister, Tracy Demos (Mike) of Comstock Park, Michigan; her sister, Regina Wong (Norbert) of East Sandwich, Massachusetts; her brother, Michael Scheltmeyer of Lisbon, New Hampshire; her nephews, Joel Bollinger of Michigan, David Bollinger of Michigan, and Tyler Wong of Massachusetts; her niece, Brittany Wong of Massachusetts; her nephew, Harley Scheltmeyer (Kendra) of Michigan; and many extended family members, friends, and colleagues who will miss her dearly.

The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to participate virtually may join the Zoom meeting here:

Kelly will be remembered for her strength, generosity, humor, unwavering loyalty, and servant’s heart. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
