Marie’s legacy of love, faith and kindness will live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.

Marie Faust, 85, of Rockledge, FL (formerly of Merrick, NY) passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. She lived a full and beautiful life centered around family, faith and friendship.

She was the devoted wife of the late John “Jack” Faust and the loving mother of Joseph and Tricia Morzillo. Her greatest joy was being the best Grandma to Jenna, Alex, Nicholas & his fiancé Samantha, all of whom she adored & cherished every moment with them. She is also survived by her sister Marjorie Cirello and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James & Muriel Farnan and her siblings, James, Kathleen and Muriel.

Marie was a devoted Catholic and was very involved in the church community. In Merrick, she was a parishioner at Sacred Heart where she also worked for many years and was part of the Ladies Auxiliary. After moving to Florida, she became part of the St. John the Evangelist family. She was involved with many groups and clubs and volunteered regularly at a local elementary school reading to the kids and sharing her warmth and patience with them. She lived her faith through service and love.

Marie had a passion for staying active, gardening and being surrounded by nature, especially the beach, her happy place. She loved to travel with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Those who knew her will remember her laugh, generosity and the way she made everyone feel special.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, October 27th, 2025, at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist, Viera, FL. A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart in Merrick, NY on Saturday, November 8th at 10 am. She will be laid to rest by her husband’s side at Calverton National Cemetery at a later date.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
