Agnes Elizabeth Reid

Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth Reid was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 30, 1931 to Frederick I. Fellows and Agnes Henson Fellows. She was a 1948 graduate of Mastbaum High School. Elizabeth met the love of her life, Paul while on an outing at a local bowling alley. They were married on a hot summer day in August 1955. She and Paul were faithful servants of Jesus Christ, joining the Olney Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where Elizabeth worked for 36 years as the pastoral executive secretary. She retired in 1997 to be a full-time grandmother, showering her grand-daughters with her time and affection. Elizabeth loved spending summers at the family lake house in the Pocono Mountains, where she took up her love for baking, jigsaw puzzles and card games with her children. She deeply appreciated the beauty of the surrounding area, often taking the family on long walks around the lake. Elizabeth courageously moved across the country in 2010, settling at Crista Senior Living in Shoreline, WA, where she enjoyed her later years in small group activities and Chapel on Sundays. She quietly went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 5 2020. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Paul H. Reid, her son Paul J. Reid and siblings- Jim, William, Virginia and Mary Lou. She was deeply cherished by her daughter Nancy Mitchell, son in law Robert Mitchell, and son, David Reid. She is also survived by her daughter in law, Lucia Reid; grand-daughters Rebecca Legg, Rachel Reid, Sarah Reid, and McKenzie Mitchell, along with 4 great grandchildren.
