Alfred Arthur Middleton

Apr 17, 1917 — Mar 27, 2016

Alfred A. Middleton was born April 17, 1917 in Victoria BC. He went home to his eternal rest on Easter, March 27, 2016. He was 3 weeks shy of his 99 birthday.Al and 5 siblings (Clara, Jim, Thelma, Ernie and Ted) were orphaned at a young age and grew up together in the Walla Walla IOOF Orphanage. All of the siblings then moved to Port Angeles to begin families and jobs and later Al moved to Seattle to attend the UW in 1946 on the GI bill. He earned his CPA license. Al married Clara Odegaard in Missoula, Montana in 1948. They returned to Seattle to start their family. They had 1 daughter. Clara passed away in 1985 and Al found a second love and married Louise Anderson. They resided in Edmonds, WA until his passing. Al was a quiet, thoughtful man with a big heart. He loved his family, his cabin, the Huskies, his yard and of course golfing. He was preceded in death by his siblings and wife Clara. He leaves behind wife Louise, daughter Jayme Graney (Ted), grandchildren Ryan and Erin and great grandchildren Carter and Kensley, stepson Scott (Karen) and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at his beloved Lake Cushman cabin (that he and his siblings built) later this summer.
