class=ObitAd -0.15pt Our loving mother and grand-mother passed away at Swedish Edmonds Hospital on Feb. 10, 2013. She was born on Nov. 12, 1917 in Royal, WA and grew up in Clallam Bay, WA. She married the love of her life, Clarence, in 1934. They eventually moved to Seattle in 1949 and then to Edmonds in 1985. class=ObitBodyText Alice was preceded in death by her husband in 1991 and her dear daughter, Carol Halverson in 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Eastman (Les) of Kenmore, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, her sister Esther Hobson of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. class=ObitBodyText During her long and active life, Alice was involved in many activities. She was an avid bridge player. She loved ballroom dancing, all types of music including playing the organ, gardening, oil painting, sewing and reading. -0.15pt; Alice enjoyed many wonderful friendships at Fairwinds-Brighton Court Retirement Home in Lynnwood where she resided for the past six years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Announcement: -0.15pt At her request, there will be no services. Remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
