Allan Scott Ramm

Born with a fishing pole in his hand in Seattle WA to Aubrey and Stella Ramm. Always an avid outdoorsman and fitness buff, Al spent his youth swimming for the Seward Park Swim Team, hunting, boating and fishing. He graduated from Franklin High School with honors in 1954, then went on to graduate from the University of Washington College of Forestry in 1960. Al served in the United States Air Force 1960 -1963. In 1969 Al entered the real estate business eventually taking over Olympic View Realty which he ran until he retired at the early age of 40 in order to have fun. Al is remembered playing tennis, riding bicycles, hiking in the mountains, kayaking puget sound, fishing, hunting, gardening, birdwatching, checking in on friends and neighbors, mentoring and offering his stern advice to all who he loved fiercely. Als adventurous spirit and loyalty live on in his daughter Dawn Marie Reichel, son and daughter in law Scott and Sheryl Ramm, granddaughters Lindsey and Erin and countless friends whose lives he touched. He is missed by all who knew him. Announcement: Driving Directions: Takes aproximately 2 hours from North of Seattle (Edmonds) area. I-5 South to Hwy 16 West. Hwy 16 West to Hwy 3 South toward Shelton. Turn LEFT off of Hwy 3 onto E. Pickering Road (signs for Jarrels Cove State Park). Follow Pickering across the bridge onto the island. Turn Left onto E. North Island Drive. At the end of this road you will be met at the gate to Harstene Pointe. Once through the gate turn LEFT onto E. Pointes Drive West, follow this at >15 MPH to North Beach at the Northern Tip of the Pointe. Please do not park on the grass.
