Amber Rae Bellingham
Sep 30, 1982 — Sep 17, 2021
Amber Rae Bellingham was born on September 30, 1982, in Sedro Wolley, WA to William Derr and Kimber Mitchell. She passed away on September 17, 2021, at the young age of 38, at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA. Amber Bellingham grew up in Skagit and Watcom county. She was raised by her Father William Derr, Aunt Shirley Derr, Grandma Margret Derr, and stepmother Tawny Derr. Amber was adventurous and independent from an early age. She could be very blunt at times, loved a good roast, and had a very colorful vocabulary. You usually knew where you stood with her as she often didn’t hold back how she felt. She married Ivan Oelund and had two beautiful children, Ava and Archer before their marriage ended in divorce. Amber followed in her Aunt Shirley’s footsteps and entered into a career in aerospace and worked 12 years for Boeing. She got her bachelor’s degree in business while working full time, helping provide for her two children, and living her life to the fullest. Amber worked hard and played hard. She met her current husband Michael Bellingham and together they had three beautiful children: Wesson, Reagan, and Jack. Amber loved God, her children, family, friends, and animals. Amber touched the hearts of countless people’s lives, and she will be dearly missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her. She had so many wonderful qualities: she was beautiful, passionate, fun, easy to talk to, loving, and funny to name a few. We know you are at peace now with God in heaven smiling down on us. We will cherish the memories of you. We love you, Amber. She is survived by her five children, her husband, and three siblings. Her daughter Ava and her son Archer Oelund; son Wesson, her daughter Reagan, and her newborn son Jack Bellingham with her husband Michael Bellingham; her sister Kristin, and her brothers Ryan and Nate. We will be having a viewing for Amber on Thursday September 30, 2021, from 1-4 PM at Beck’s Tribute Center in downtown Edmonds. This will be an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and say goodbye to Amber. Amber will be laid to rest in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Skagit County next to her loving father William Derr.
