Bertha Elizabeth Melton

Bertha E. Melton passed away peacefully on 12/24/2011 at 93 years of age. She was born to James McGrail and Mary Ellen Lacey on 5/12/1918 in Klein, MT at home. She moved to Seattle, WA in 1948 with her husband Kirth Melton settling in what is now Shoreline. She raised four sons and one daughter there: Dan (Tana), Tim (Janet), Kelly (Cris), Pat (Bonny) and Kathleen Jayne Connors (Mike). She leaves behind twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She retired from Fircrest School in 1983 where she had worked as a supervisor for 23 years.
