Brian Thomas Bailey

Jun 29, 1953 — May 7, 2021

Our beloved and valiant warrior, Brian (Beetle) Thomas Bailey said goodbye on May 7th, 2021. He passed peacefully, at home, family at his side. Brian was preceded in passing by his parents William and Merna (Hansen) Bailey and youngest sister Marlene (Bailey) Asnicar. His fellow warriors were his wife, Vicky (Johner) Bailey, daughter Kelly (Grant) Zianio, grandsons Austin Lazo, Taylor Zianio, son Corey Bailey, granddaughter Chloe Bear-Bailey, daughter Lesa (Bailey) Monroe, son-in-law, Donald Monroe, grandson Kyle Monroe, brothers Neil Bailey, James Bailey (Tina) and sister Laura (Bailey) Barbeau. Brian lived in Mountlake Terrace his entire life. As a youngster, he spent many hours at his grandfather's rifle range earning recognition awards and skating at the local roller rink. He competed as a dance and speed skater, also enjoying hockey. Entering high school, his interest turned to restoring and working on cars. In 1974, Brian began his career in home construction and became a very successful and respected general contractor, commercial and residential. Brian was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a proud homeowner, gardener and eagerly invited guests to a game of croquet in the backyard. He played softball, shot pool, fished many lakes and spent his summers adventuring in Montana on ATV's. Poker and Pinnocle for the win! He was the best of the best.
