Candis Jean Myers

Candy, age 48, slept her way to heaven, Tuesday, May 11, 2010. She had been diagnosed with dementia in 2009 and had been fighting pneumonia since January.Candy was born in Seattle, Washington on November 9, 1961 to Jesse Jean and Phyllis Myers.Candy went to school at The Little Red School House in Lynnwood, Washington; and competed in Special Olympics when she was younger. She loved to play her records, sing and dance, watch soap operas during the day and work her crossword puzzle books.Candy was preceded in death in 2005 by her mother Phyllis Myers and in 2002, by her father, Jesse Jean Myers.For the last 5 years Candy has been living at The Princess Care Home, in Everett, Washington where she has been taken special care of by Myrna Brewer and family, who was like a 2nd family to her. Candy was a special girl and will truly be missed by all who knew her.She is survived by her brother, Terry Myers and his wife Karen of Everett, brother, Jerry Myers of Mountlake Terrace, niece Jenifer Myers-Carlson and great niece Mia Carlson, nephew Brandon Myers, Aunt Carol Jandert of Bloomington, MN, Aunt Donna DeRoberts and her husband Pat of Olympia, Uncle Ross Myers and his wife Marty of Mulvane, KS, and lots of cousins.
