Claudette Patricia Rockey
Oct 1, 1934 — Nov 23, 2011
Claudette Patricia Rockey (Aasen) of Shoreline, WA was born Oct 1, 1934 to Oliver and Alicia Aasen in Boston, MA and went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rockey. She is survived by 4 sons, Brian (Sheri) Rockey, Steve (Sue) Rockey, Dean Rockey, Mike (Karla) Rockey; 2 sisters, Jackie (Bill) Hoerner and Muriel ONeil; 7 grandchildren: Mark (Caitlyn) Rockey, David Rockey, Domenic Rockey, Kevin Rockey, Kourtney Wiese, and Sara Gomez. Mom was a true lady who loved old movies, the theatre, chocolate, a nice glass of wine or a hot cup of tea. Mom was one that would give of herself in so many ways. She worked as a Stephens Minister counseling others during their difficult times showing her love and compassion. Family and friends were fortunate to be blessed by her amazing cooking which not only fed us, but also nourished our hearts. She was able to touch others with this amazing gift as she worked for an adult home in preparing meals for the elderly. Most of all, she loved the Lord with all her heart and always wanted her family close to her. Mom was loved by many and will be deeply missed. We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Crista Nursing Home (Dogwood Wing) for loving and caring for mom as much as we did. Announcement: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cristwood Nursing Center is honor of Claudette Rockey. Please make a note of Claudette Rockeys name on the check. Checks can be mailed to 19301 Kings Garden Drive North, Shoreline, WA 98133.
