Cleo Jane Hurban

Aug 17, 1938 — Jul 25, 2013

10 Cleo Jane (Iverson) Hurban, born 8-17-38 in Burlington, WA, lived life her way, with no regrets. The daughter of Elsie and Wilbur Iverson, Cleo grew up a farm girl along with her sisters and brother.Betty Young, LeRoy Iverson and Phyllis Ryman. She loved the quiet life AND THEN she met a sailor named Lucky! After a week Lucky proposed while at Deception Pass on Whidbey Island and two weeks later they were married. Everyone said it would not last.but Cleo married her best friend and for the last 56 years they were together continually, in work and play. Cleo and Lucky were not only life partners but business partners, at Cascade Trophy, Inc. in Lynnwood, for over 37 years. She let Lucky think he was the boss.but we all knew better! Many precious friends and funny stories came through those doors and into Cleos life. 8pt 10 Cleo loved nothing more than spending time with her family and would frequently tell others how blessed she was. Cleos heart, as a Mom, Grandma and GG, was filled with love for her daughter, Debbi Hawney (husband Barry), son, Steve Hurban (wife Jennifer) and son, Brian Hurban (wife Kim).Grandchildren, Jesse Hawney (wife Beth), Jeanette Hurban, Jake Hawney (wife Jessica), Rose Hurban, Darren Hurban and Josh Hurban. Great GrandchildrenNoah, Chloe, Lucas, Sienna, Bryce and Max..Adopted kids.Heather Martin (husband Jim) and Rafael Del Rio..plus MANY others who called her mom! 8pt 10 Cleo loved to travel, especially to places where she and Lucky could gamble. From Alaska, Neveda, St. Louis to the Bahamas.so many fun adventures. They always would come home feeling like winnersone way or another. 8pt 10 Cleo peacefully passed away on July 25, 2013 after two weeks in a coma due to a blood clot near her brain. We will miss her terribly but we believe she finally hit the ultimate jackpot! 8pt 10 The family would love for you to leave comments and memories as a sweet gift of remembrance of how Cleo touched your life.
