Mom passed away August 3, 2017, while in hospice care at age 92. She lived life on her own terms, laughing and dancing often. She worked in the office at Boeing during WWII, at SeaFirst in the Foreign Exchange and Audit Departments, and later as office manager for Elks Club in Ballard. She is predeceased by her daughter, Charlotte Smith, husbands Floyd Smith, Sr., Sherman McLaughlin and Joseph Donovan, and son-in-law Gabe Jansen. She is survived by her daughter Tricia Jansen, son Floyd Smith, Jr. and daughter-in-law Janis Smith.Moms Lutheran background offers assurance she is now resting in peace and happiness in Gods eternal heavenly kingdom. Any donations in her memory may be made in her honor to a charity of choice.No funeral service will be held at her request.
