Doris Tucker

Beautiful Loving Wife of Roy Tucker passed away Jan. 10, 2013 due to Medical complication from cancer. Sue was born in Leavenworth, WA on Feb. 23, 1937; daughter of Bert Rathje and Mable Courtney. She spent her early years in Granite Falls and Castle Rock, WA. She graduated from Castle Rock High School. Her favorite employment was with the Longview Daily News. Others included: Safeway, Pay and Save, and an Office Manager at an orthodontic practice. Sue enjoyed mountain biking and horseback riding, dancing, bowling, golf, gardening and crossword puzzles. Her favorites in the last few years: yoga, collecting fine books and being an active member of Friends of the Edmonds Library. Sue is survived by her husband, Roy Tucker; father, Bert Rathje; brothers Doug and Jeff; her children: Melissa, Lori, Mike, Kevin and Karen; grandchildren: Issac, Travis, Lauren, Jordan, Meagan and Cameron; and her great granddaughter, Genevieve.
