Doug Lee Gove

DOUGLAS L. GOVE Born on November 22, 1948 and raised in Seattle, Doug was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School, attended the Seattle Community College. As an avid outdoors photographer and nature lover, he thoroughly enjoyed the coastal areas of the Pacific Northwest. Doug would often hike into remote areas prior to dawn and dusk, and wait for the ideal light and timing to take the perfect shot, if it occurred great and if not there would be another day! He most recently worked for the Boeing Company locally as a Quality Control Specialist. After a sudden diagnosis, Doug lost a battle to cancer at the age of 64 on May 8th, 2013. He will be remembered as a loving man, son, and brother, a very passionate photographer, a dog owner and a respected fellow employee. He is survived by his mother Billie, brothers and their wives Gary Marsha, Mike Carrie, and 9 nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by his father, Ernie Gove, and brother, Dennis. A celebration of his life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to cancer research.
