Duane Lee Weaver

Duane Weaver of Edmonds, Washington passed away Oct. 28, 2013 after a courageous battle with Parkinsons.Duane was born Oct. 1, 1935 in Olympia, Washington. He was the oldest of four children of Orin Weaver and Lillian Mack Weaver. Duane is survived by his sister, Judi of Olympia. He was preceded in death by his brother Kelly Weaver and his sister Anita Hubbard.Duane is survived by his wife Sherry Weaver. They were married 32 wonde years. Duane is also survived by his children Doug Weaver and family and Diana Wu and family. He is survived by his step children and their families: Teresa and Ron Block, Lynn and Buzz Bannister, Charles and Laura Maris, Pamela Adan and Janelle Maris. He has seventeen wonde grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. He loved them all and they loved him.Duane graduated from Olympia High School in Olympia, Washington. He received a BA in Accounting from St. Martin University and a Masters in Psychology from Gonzaga University.Duane was a very sussful CFO/Controller at Kamper Kushion, US Mat, and Wizard International retiring in December 2003. He lived his live to the fullest. His greatest joy was being with his wife Sherry and family.Duane enjoyed a variety of hobbies and pursuits. He loved the mountains and was an accomplished climber and hiker. He enjoyed music and played his guitar, karaoke, photography, hunting and sitting by the camp fire. He was famous at Maxwelton Beaches 4 of July Parade with the Mad Dog Clowns.Duane and Sherry enjoyed many good times together camping, Maxwelton Beach, Hawaii (many times), traveling, and cruising.Duane had many friends that he loved to spend time with. He was known for his humor and wittiness. His family will always remember his mischievous nature, and his warm smile.
