Emoke Helen Rock
May 22, 1945 — Jul 2, 2021
Our sweet mom was born May 22, 1945 in Germany and passed away July 2, 2021 in a tragic accident. Mom and her family left Germany and came to America to settle in Ohio where she attended high school for 1 year. The family then left Ohio for Seattle where she attended Shoreline High School and the University of Washington and went on to be a teacher for about 12 years. From there mom became a real estate agent for the Windermere Edmonds office for many, many years from where she retired a couple years back. In 2018 she sold her Edmonds home and moved to Columbia City with her beloved Steven “Skip” Wayne who passed away with mom. These two enjoyed traveling all over the states in their motor home and finding a place in Mexico just recently that they loved to visit. Emoke is survived by two children, Gregory Cooper and Sharman Cooper Denman and her husband Perry; grandchildren: Toby, Storme, Zack, Ryan, Lynzie and husband Zack, and Taylor; great grandchildren, William and Olivia; and her sister, Ildiko Bradley and her husband Michael, niece, Sarah Lichtenberger and husband Jason, and their kids; and nephew Peter, his wife Alex and their kids. She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Irene Nagy. In Leu of flowers, since mom was a huge dog lover, please donate in her name to your favorite animal charity.
