Esther M. Anderson Aylesworth

Esther Mae Aylesworth passed away October 4, 2017 in Edmonds, WA at the age of 93. She was born February 9, 1924 to Esther Mary Moran and Fay Richardson. ,She was raised in South Dakota and moved to Seattle with her family in 1942. She found work at the Boeing Co. and became a Rosie the Riveter where she met and married her first husband, Robert Anderson.Esther and Bob raised their four children in Seattle and Mountlake Terrace. They were married for 43 years prior to Bobs death in 1985. ,While bowling on a senior league Esther met Lloyd Aylesworth, her second husband. ,They loved to travel and took many road trips together. After Lloyds death in 1995, Esther continued to bowl until her 90 birthday. ,Preceded in death by her son Stephen (Steve), Esther is survived by her daughters, Theresa Turner (Ray, deceased), Linda Smith (Jim), Vicky Anderson, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. ,Services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 22209 58 Avenue W., Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043; on Thursday, October 12, 2017 with a Rosary being read at 10:30am and the Funeral to begin at 11a.m.; Interment will follow at Holyrood Cemetery in the Shoreline. ,
