Frank Earl Smith

Frank E. Smith of Coupeville, WA passed away Dec.15, 2013 at the age of 95. Frank was born July 4, 1918 to Leslie and Oletia Smith in Richwood, West Virginia. Frank lived the majority of his life in the Seattle area, working in the Sheet Metal Industry for 45 years retiring as Vice President of J F Industries. Frank enjoyed boxing, camping, and traveling. He was also a 32*Mason. Frank is survived by his children Leon Smith (Cherie), Janet Nafziger (Jerry), Kenneth Smith, Michael Smith, Pennee Mecham (Michael) and Pamela Wasmund (Michael); also 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, and sister Vada Mathews. Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Vardean, his parents, brother Joe L. Smith, and sister Vera York. A private interment will be at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery, with a private family gathering at a future date. Remembrances can be made to Careage of Whidbey, 311 NE 3 rd Coupeville, WA 98239
