Jerry Santwire peacefully died on March 24, 2017. He was born on September 2, 1939 to Avanelle and Raymond Santwire in Waubun, Minnesota. After graduating from Ballard High School (1958) he joined the Air Force. Jerry graduated from the University of Washington in Business Administration.After graduation, Jerry worked as Supervisor of the Computer Support Group at The Bon Marche and then he was the Manufacturing Support Co-Coordinator at Pacific Car Foundry. Jerry became an Associate Broker in Real Estate in the greater Edmonds, Washington area where he consistently was one of the top ten salespeople.He retired and moved to Tucson, Arizona where he hiked the surrounding mountain ranges, walked the desert daily, played golf and the game he loved, tennis. Jerry was an avid sports fan: Go Seahawks!Jerry developed Lewy Body Dementia/Alzheimer so he and his wife moved back to family in Edmonds.He is survived by his wife Ardis, son Ryan Santwire (Carolina), his step-children Renee Jones (Tim), Sean Pielow (Carissa). Seven grandchildren Emma and Gavin Pielow, Ethan, Esmee, Willa Jones, Nyah Bradley, Lucca Santwire and Sister Marge Olson (Dan).He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mona McCann, and daughter Renee Bradley.The family will celebrate Jerrys life privately.
