Gerald Franklin Slater, 74, passed away on May 7th in Everett, Washington due to natural causes. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Slater and Ellen Hardin. Jerry was a retired Army veteran who served two tours of service in the Vietnam War. After his service in the Army, he retired as a civilian maintenance worker for the Air Force in Seattle, Washington. Jerry enjoyed anything to do with electronics and was a huge sports fan. He is survived by three sisters, Renay Moore (Kevin) of Burlington, WA, Cindy Bell (Don) of Wenatchee, WA, Charlotte Nelson (Mark) of Tigard, OR, one brother, Bill Mounce (Laurie) of Vancouver, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.
