Gertrude Gallagher

Gertrude Betty Gallagher died peacefully at home August 10th, 2009. Betty was born in Spokane, WA on June 21, 1930. She is survived by her family John Ellefson, Steven (Peggy) Ellefson, Lori Ellefson, Gary (Tamara) Ellefson, Gordon Gallagher, Jackie (Clay) Andrews, Jean (Dean) Barnes, Gerald Gallagher Jr., and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends the most. She also enjoyed square dancing with The Checkerboard Squares and Whirlybirds Square Dancing Clubs. She loved to travel and participated in as many activities as possible.Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald F Gallagher, daughters Ann Hansen, Lynn Bonnano, and stepson Ken Gallagher.She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.Vigil service 7:00 p.m., August 20th at Becks Funeral Home, 405 5th Ave South, Edmonds; 425-771-1234. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. August 21, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7th Ave North, Edmonds; with Graveside service following Mass at 3:00 p.m. Miller-Woodlawn, 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton.Donations may be made to your favorite cancer research center or the charity of your choice.
