On December 31, 2020, Betty Shockley peacefully went to be with our Lord. Born Gisella Elizabeth Schindelka, September 12, 1924 in Raymore, Saskatchewan to Frank Schindelka and Gisella (Lang) Schindelka, was one of ten children. Gisella was preceded in death by her nine siblings, husband Willis (Bill) Shockley and her two daughters, Jolene and Geraldine. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey H. Jones and wife Patricia Jones, grandson Scott Jones, and granddaughters Andrea (Jones) Monroe and husband James, and Veronica (Cvar) Tarvar; numerous grandchildren, great grant children, nieces and nephews. In June 1959, Betty moved to Seattle, Washington from Vancouver, BC. Betty was a member of Saint Pius X Catholic Church, for many years and was also a member of the 3rd Order of Mary. She loved to travel and a few of her trips included Indonesia, China, Europe, Russia, Yugoslavia, Italy and the Holy Land. In her spare time Betty made over 25,000 Rosaries, which were sent to the faithful in Asia and Africa. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the food bank and help provide a meal in these troubled time with Covid Virus.
