James W. King was born in Boston, MA, November 1, 1925. Died March 15, 2012 at Swedish-Edmonds, with family at his side. WWII Navy combat veteran. Proud Plank Owner USS Wasp aircraft carrier. When his ship arrived in Seattle-Bremerton for repairs, met his future wife, Marie to whom he was married for 65+ years. Worked at Ft. Lawton and various Nike defense sites. GSA Seattle Field Office Manager, Jackson Federal Building, and first General Manager of Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood. Retired from Rainier Bank. Survived by wife Marie, Edmonds, and sons Jason (Linda), Mercer Island, and Damian (Eileen), Edmonds, daughter Diana Yoh, Fort Worth, Texas. Also survived by grandchildren Andrew, Aaron, and Amanda.
