Jane Mason passed away peacefully on October 24, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born in Seattle in 1921 and attended Blessed Sacrament elementary school and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1939. She was married to the love of her life, James Mason, for 68 wonde years. He preceded her in death in April of 2012. They resided in the Shorewood community in Burien for 55 years, where they raised their family of three children.Jane was first and foremost devoted to her family and was a caring, loving wife and mother. For many, many years she was an active volunteer in service to her church and her community. She also loved to travel and visited much of the world along with her husband.Jane is survived by her three children: Larry (Kris), Pat (Renee), and Eileen (David); and three grandchildren: David, Brian and Katie; and one step-grandson, Jeremy (Tiffany).The family gives special thanks for the compassionate care she received at Providence Mount St. Vincent by Nick Schoen, Kathy Nilon, and the entire care staff.The Funeral Service will be held at Providence Mount St. Vincent Chapel in West Seattle, 4831 35 Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98126 on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 11a.m. with a recn to follow. Remembrances in Janes name may be made to the Providence Mount St. Vincent Foundation or a charity of your choice.
