Jerroldine Duretha Fonk

Jerroldine Duretha (Anderson) Fonk   Born on November 16, 1929, Jerroldine Duretha Fonk, 95 years old of Edmonds, Washington died at her home peacefully on Monday, September 8th, 2025.  

Born in Bismark, North Dakota to Fredrick Leighton Anderson and Inez Duretha Anderson, Jerry was the first-born and the eldest of nine children.  

After a long career with General Telephone Company Jerry spent time with family, friends, and The Welcomers (Social Club) of Edmonds.  Jerry also enjoyed several hobbies such as quilting and ceramics.   She is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Harvey (1991) and her spouse, Vernon L. Fonk (2006) and is survived by her three remaining children, James Fonk, Dale Fonk, and Rene (Fonk) Mulvaney, 8 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  

A viewing will be held Thursday, September 18th, 20205 from 2 PM to 5 PM and on Friday, September 19th, 2025, prior to the funeral at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 5th Ave S, Edmonds WA.

Funeral to be held Friday, September 19, 2025, at 12:30pm at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 5th Ave S, Edmonds WA.

Burial Immediately following at Purdy and Walters Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood WA. 

The Celebration of life continues at the Old Spaghetti Factory at 2:30pm, 2509 196th St SW, Lynnwood WA.
