Judy Cross passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 12, 2015. She passed away from a short but very courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Dutch Harbor, Alaska to Edward and Viola (Sjoberg) Casey. She spent her childhood growing up on Unga Island, Alaska. She then moved to Ballard and graduated from Ballard High School the class of 1960. At Ballard High School she was active in the yearbook and the Ballard Eagles Drill Team. She was hired by United Airlines in 1963 as a flight attendant. She spe7 years loving her career as a flight attendant and making lifelong friends. In 1974 she married the love of her life Dorr Cross. She will always be remembered for her amazing smile, her thoughtfulness towards others and her ability to light up a room. She had never met a stranger only friends she had not met yet. Her greatest joy in life was her two daughters and grandchildren. She was the best mother and grandmother ever. She always dedicated her time and love to her daughters and never gave less to her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed for her hugs and kisses that she showered them with. She leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Dorr Cross, who cared for her with compassion and love; their daughters Jessica Gardner and Dorrinda Pierce; sons-in-law Matt Gardner and Elliot Pierce are forever grateful to be blessed to have such an amazing mother and mother-in-law; and her four grandchildren: Tom, Travis, Elsie and Casey who will miss their Grammy and Lala. She will forever live with all of us every day as we wait for the miracles that she will bring. A Funeral Mass in her honor will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7th Ave N Edmonds, 98020 at 11am on November 19th. Recn to follow.
