Kathy A. Serwold

Born to Laurence and Wilma Blom in Seattle, WA; taken tragically from us the morning of October 13, 2012. A graduate of the first graduating class from Blanchet High School 1958; she attended Seattle University School of Nursing and spent her life working and volunteering in several aspects of the medical and psychology fields. Kathy had a deep compassion for the service and care of those in need and less fortunate. She had a never-ending drive and will to see more, learn more and do more in spite of debilitating and chronic physical pain. Left to cherish her memory are: her brother, John L. Blom of Newport Beach, CA., son Michael Serwold, Jr. of Edmonds, WA., daughter Colleen Serwold (Sleveland) of Tempe, AZ; and numerous lifetime friends, cousins and colleagues. A Funeral will be held on Friday, October 19 at 11a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7th Ave. N in Edmonds; with the Interment following at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline.
