Kenneth Everett Chaplin passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on June 27 th . Kenneth was born November 19, 1922 in Worcester, Mass. He graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and enlisted in the army. He was with the 154 th paratrooper division, made over 50 combat jumps during WWII and was awarded numerous medals for bravery and valor. Kenneth enjoyed a few interesting careers and found his way to the Seattle area in 1960. He owned Seattle Core Exchange for 21 years and then owned and operated NW Recycling from which he retired. He then spent the last 28 years in Edmonds. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Hazel and leaves his 5 children: Kenneth (Angela) Leo, Cynthia (Gary) Oneal, Kent (Barbara) Chaplin, Michael (Kressen) Chaplin, and Nedra (Geoff) Gannon; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
