Kenneth Gene Pearl
Oct 11, 1947 — Jul 12, 2011
Beloved husband and father, Kenneth Gene Pearl, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the age of 63, after a lengthy battle with multiple illnesses. Ken was born on October 11, 1947 in Snohomish, WA. He grew up in Snohomish and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1966. He then entered the military, serving in the United States Army, where he spent two tours in Vietnam. In 1971, he married Shirley Johnson and they had three daughters. In 1980, he married Suzette Ferincz and together they had one daughter and one son. They made their home in Edmonds, WA, where they still resided at the time of his death. Ken spent 25 plus years of his adult life working as a machinist at Boeings Everett plant, until his medical retirement in recent years. Ken spent many years as a league bowler and also loved to play pool. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren and he especially enjoyed attending their sporting events and activities. Ken was a die-hard Huskie, Seahawks and Mariners fan and enjoyed fishing and watching John Wayne movies. Ken is survived by his wife of 30 plus years, Susy; his daughters, Heather (Dwayne) Yaw of Marysville, WA, Janelle (David) Lierman of Everett, Kellie (Gary) Woinowsky of Stanwood, WA and Megan Pearl of Edmonds, WA; his son, Danny Pearl, also of Edmonds; his mother, Evelyn Pearl of Snohomish; two brothers, Orville Pearl of Snohomish and Fred Pearl of Churubusco, IN; and one sister, Sue Hoerath of Lake Stevens; 11 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ken is preceded in death by his father, George Pearl; and his father-in-law, John Ferincz.
