Kevin Thomas O'Leary

Mar 1, 1952 — Nov 26, 2020

Kevin Thomas O’Leary was born on March 1, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to Ray and Dolores O’Leary. He passed on November 26, 2020 in Seattle. He attended Shoreline high school, playing on the football team and graduating in 1970. During his high school years, Kevin taught himself how to surf and continued surfing throughout his life. It was his dream to move to Hawaii. Kevin always had a zest for life. He loved to golf, raced cars and go-carts in competition and when he wasn’t doing that, he worked on restoring his classic car, a 1978 Firebird. He was a kind and generous friend and would always take the time to help out any friend in any way he could. He spent his career as a union electrician and worked in many high rises and commercial buildings in Seattle. He worked out of IBEW Local 46. Kevin had a Scottish terrier, named Puna that he loved dearly. She was always at his side and always went everywhere with him, even to church. He was devoted to his mother and did anything he could to help her as she grew older. He is survived by his mother, Dolores O’Leary, his sister, Marybeth Hecht and three brothers, James, Daniel and Richard O’Leary. Kevin, you are deeply missed and this world is not the same without you here. Aloha, Kevin.
