Kimberley Kay Zirbes

Kim passed away June 28, 2017, at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.She was born in Seattle, Washington (Ballard). She grew up in the North-end area. She graduated from Woodway High School and Edmonds Community College.She is survived by her loving husband David Radetich. Her Mother and Father, Karen and Donald Zirbes. Her sister Darcie and brother-in-law Steve Paschal and her nephews and niece, Al, Dane and Leighton Paschal and several Aunts, Uncles and many cousins.In her early years, she was involved in the teaching of competitive baton twirling, winning many awards and titles herself. Kim was involved along with her sister Darcie at her Mothers school Karen Lees School of Baton and Dance on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle and later at the Pacific Northwest Twirling Institute in Edmonds, Washington. In her later years, she changed her focus to the art of jewelry and its many facets. Starting at Facere in Downtown Seattle and then at Cline Jewelers in Edmonds, Washington. Cline was her true love and all of her customers became her true and wonde friends.A Celebration of Life will be held for Kim on August 21, 2017 at the Edmonds Senior Center in the banquet room from 6:00 8:00 pm.In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite animal charity. Animals were always a big part of her life and a joy to her.
