Magna Mj&ones passed away at home in the comfort of family on December 26, 2014. Born July 3, 1943, in Hemne, Norway to George Mj&ones and Gjertrud Olsen Mj&ones. Predeceased by her husband of 40 years Andrew J. Martinis, MD, and by her father. Survived by her mother, brothers Jan (Mary) and Stig (Birte), stepchildren Dale and Berrie (Cliff), grandchildren Della, Dillon and Daniel, and many nieces and nephews in Norway. Practiced for many years as a surgical nurse at Swedish Hospital in Seattle (downtown and Ballard). Painted beautifully. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Edmonds Food Bank, 425-778-5833. Funeral service Friday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Becks Funeral Home in downtown Edmonds.
