Marion Kain

Marion passed on Jan. 11, 2010 in Edmonds, WA. She was born on Jan. 22, 1916 in North Viking, ND to William and Ellen Maddock.Together with her husband, Frank, Marion owned the Madrona Caf and Wedgewood Caf. Marion was a wonde cook and perfect grandmother who was the heart of a large extended family.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Francis M. Kain, and their two sons, Keith and Francis Kain. She is survived by her son Dan (Lynda) Kain; brother-in-law, Jerry Kain who is more like a son; three daughters-in-law: Himera Kain, Kathy Kain and Ruth Kain; ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.A Rosary will be said at 7 pm on Friday, Jan. 22 at Becks Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S in Edmonds; 425-771-1234. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 8900 35th Avenue NE in Seattle with recn at church to follow Mass; with Committal following at Holyrood Mausoleum in Shoreline.
