Marion was born Nov. 15, 1933 in Wiota, Iowa and passed away in Lynnwood, WA on June 8, 2014. She is survived by her children: Chris (Gary) Stratton, Sharon Ryan, Michael Ryan and partner Dave Gonzalez, Barb Ryan, Mary (Chad) Sylte, Patty Sanders, and Sandy (Brian) Smith; grandchildren: Adam Granstrom (Jessica), Doug Granstrom (Rosa), Tim Stratton (Jill), Melissa Stratton (Adam Fitzpatrick), Dan Stratton, Jacob Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Rachel Sanders, Nathan Sanders, Ava Sylte, Glenn Neeley, Chris Neeley, Tonya Stewart, and Lori Smith; and her great grandchildren: Gavin, Rileyann and Dylan Granstrom, Noah and Gabriel Granstrom, and Ellie Stratton; her son-in-law Mike Granstrom; and brother Jack Metz (Ilse). She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Ryan; daughter Valarie Ann Granstrom, son Rick Ryan, and daughter-in-law, Shelley, as well as grandson Justin Stewart. Marion was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. Her enjoyments were going to her grandchildrens sporting events, trips to California, and love of flowers and gambling. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orangewood Children and Family Center, 401 The City Drive S, Orange, CA 92868. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m.on Friday, June 13, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7 th Avenue N in Edmonds; with Committal following at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline. Announcement: In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orangewood Children and Family Center, 401 The City Drive S, Orange, CA 92868.
