Marion L. Sommars was born to Ervin and Anna Michel on May 5, 1916, in Jamestown, ND.She was married to Pastor Fred A. Sommars and served church parishes in Bemidji, Bagley and Jackson, MN; and Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, WA. Marion sought every opportunity to bring sunshine into the lives of others. She was a selfless servant, dedicated to providing joy and comfort to all in need. The joy of her faith in God was her strength. She leaves and deep and lasting legacy to all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ray Michel. She is survived by: daughters Sherri Olsen (Terry) of Bremerton, and Lizz Brooks(Peter) of Brier, WA; and sons Mark Sommars (Sue) of Peoria, Il, and Phil Sommars (Darlene) of Lakeland, FL. She had ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.A memorial service will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, WA on Saturday, April 9th at 2 pm. Her friends and family rejoice that she is home in heaven with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, and her loved ones there. Announcement: Memorial can be given to Trinity Lutheran Church and Maple Park Lutheran, also located in Lynnwood.
