Mark San Diego, 63, of Edmonds, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2012 surrounded by family. Mark was born August 22, 1948 in Manila, Philippines Mark will most be remembered for his dedication to his country. Mark was a US Marine who served 2 tours of duty in the Vietnam War from 1966-1970 and for the past 24 years as a Lynnwood Police Officer as well as working the past 9 1/2 years as a Marshall for the Snohomish County Sheriff. Mark loved camping, playing poker, riding his Harley, golfing and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Mark San Diego, Sr., his mother Angelita Aquino as well as his dog named Harley. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Teresa, his sons Mike and Mark, daughter Lisa and her husband Mike Nekahi, daughter Nicole, and beautiful grandson Reece; grandchildren Tristan and Abigal; his mom Betty, sisters Pat, Thelma, Josie, Grace, brother Chris and many nieces and nephews to include great nieces and nephews as well as many beloved in-laws. Mark will be forever missed by many friends; both in and out of uniform.
