Norma Hazel (Dukes) Miller aged 94 went to her Lord November 17, 2012 at 4:40 p.m. at Garden View Residential Care Facility in Shoreline, WA. The daughter of William Lester Lilly Hazel (Hess) Dukes, Born July 23, 1918 in Collison, Illinois she is the oldest of four children including: William Jerry Dukes, LaVerna June (Dukes) LaMar, Mabre Illeete (Dukes) Seymour, and Carroll Wayne Dukes. On Nov 11, 1940 she entered into wedlock with Kenneth Leo Miller who preceded her in death on June 20 1988. To this marriage 4 sons were born. Kenneth Leo Miller II died Mar 8, 1944 and is buried in Sunset Memorial Garden in Danville, Illinois along with his parents. Norma is survived by her children: Paul Eugene Miller (Penny) of Everett, Gary Kent Miller (Janet) of Shoreline, Dean Arthur Miller (Deborah) of Port Orchard; along with 8 grandkids, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will be missed by family friends. Funeral arrangements are being handled through Becks Funeral Home, in Edmonds, WA. And can be found online at www.becksfuneralhome.com A Memorial service will be held at Ronald Methodist Church, 17839 Aurora Ave N., Shoreline, WA 98133, ph# (206) 542-2484, on December 8th, at 3 pm, followed by refreshments. Announcement: Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Normas name.
