Patricia Josephine Macclellan

atricia (Pat) MacClellan passed away peacefully on June 12, 2013. Pat was born Patricia Josephine Galvin on March 19, 1916 in Seattle and was raised in the Greenwood neighborhood. Pat and her sisters, Maxine and Margaret, graduated from Holy Names Academy. Pat married Frank MacClellan on August 8th, 1937. Franks early position as a produce wholesaler took them to Vancouver, BC and Portland, Oregon. In 1947, when Frank was working as a clerk for the Burlington Northern Railroad, they moved to the East Phinney Ridge neighborhood. Pat and Frank were active members of Saint Johns Catholic Church and Pat found true joy as a wife and mother of four, Mike, Jean, Maureen and Bobby, as an employee of Frederick and Nelson in Seattle and soon thereafter for the New York based Corning company. Pat is survived by her children, Mike MacClellan of Portland, Oregon and Maureen MacClellan of Seattle, her sister Margaret Foster of Issaquah, nieces, nephews and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat will be fondly remembered by her remaining family members and several dear friends. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, June 21st, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Saint Matthew Parish, 1230 NE 127th St in Seattle.
