Randy Kevin Pfriem
Jan 19, 1956 — Dec 2, 2009
Randy Pfriem died in the loving hands of His God, surrounded by family and friends in the afternoon of December 2, 2009 at home. We miss him desperately!! He dealt with his disease positively and came to understand just how Loved and Blessed he and his family are while dealing with his disease. Randy adored his family and Held Court as the Patriarch on Thanksgiving one last time, surrounded by those that loved him. Randys Family is the source of joy, celebration and pride for him; its what made him smile. Randys family includes Sue (wife) who lovingly cared for Randy during his illness; Emily and Ben, who loved and helped Dad through this ordeal. The Older Kids, Josh (Annie), who brought him grandkids, Sahale and Watou, Zach (Julie), and Liz are all the source of Randys pride and accomplishment, and brought so much comfort and peace to him as a DAD!!! Randy is also survived by sisters, Debbie, and Cheryl and their families, and countless numbers of people that considered Randy, Their Friend. Randy was interested in so many activities. He loved woodworking and working on his house, and making it into a home. Anybody hear the stories about remodeling the Greenlake House?? Randy loved food and how it brought people together, to sit and talk and enjoy each others company. It was an enlightening experience to drive somewhere with Randy, and have him insert ongoing restaurant commentary, as you drove. You might hear that the Rama Noodles were really good at this restaurant, and have the flank steak or mac and cheese here. Randy was passionate about being on the boat!!! Fishing, crabbing, shrimping was wonde time spent with family and friends. He was an active member of Puget Sound Anglers, and made many lifelong friendships through the many members he met there. Randy loved people!!! We will all miss the chance to have the phone ring, and have that voice on the other end say, Hey, its Randy!!! Randys Family wishes to thank Hospice and any medical staff that took care of Randy during his illness, and all the friends that so beautifully supported and blessed his family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to American Cancer Society, Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, or Puget Sound Anglers. A service of celebration of the Life of Randy Pfriem will be performed at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514-84th Street SW, Mukilteo, WA 98275, (425)355-2802.
