Born April 24th 1952, Robert Dennis Campbell, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 27th, 2014 in the evening at the University of Washington Medical Center due to severe medical complications. Bob grew up in Edmonds, WA with his parents, Elaine and Robert and two brothers and sister. He was raised to be a strong, hard working, loving and caring man. As a younger man he served time in the US Army before his honorary discharge on June 4th, 1975. Bob had always been a long time lover of sports. Beyond being an outstanding athlete himself, Bob has always found his most joy going to baseball games, watching boxing wrestling, going to the casino and has been devoted season ticket holder for the Mariners for many years. Bob was survived by his wife Cheryl; children Robert Jr., Jewel and William; grandson Seth; brothers Steve and Dave; and sister Linda; and his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A service to celebrate Bobs life will take place Thursday March 6th, 2014 at 1:00pm at Becks Funeral Home in Edmonds, WA; directly followed by burial at Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to The Robert Campbell Memorial Fund. Contributions can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank.
