Passed away March 30, 2016; born on Labor Day Weekend, September 4, 1965 in Ellensburg, WA to Victor J. Sr. and Margie Grecco Scarpelli, Robert was the youngest of three boys and grew up in Shoreline, WA. He attended North City Elementary School, St. Mark Catholic School, Cordell Hull Middle School, and graduated from Shoreline High School with the class of 1983 where he lettered in football and tennis. He went to Edmonds Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree and went on to Central Washington University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Marketing. Robert and family spent most of their weekends and summers with their grandparents, Mike and Concetta Grecco in Roslyn, WA; and also visited his grandparents Mike and Vienna Scarpelli in Auburn, WA. Growing up he played C.Y.O. and North King County sports, and he also played Shorelake Soccer. Robert was a sports enthusiast and a database of sports statistics. He was a long-time holder of season tickets for the SeaHawks and the Mariners; where he developed life-long friendships. Robert spent his entire career of over 35 years in the grocery industry working for Lucky Stores, Olsons, and QFC; where he also made his closest friends. He is survived by his father, Victor Scarpelli, Sr.; and brothers Victor Scarpelli, Jr. and Mike Scarpelli; his Aunt Yolanda Scarpelli Clark and many cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Margie. He will always be remembered for his wonderful smile, laughter, positive and generous attitude. Services to be held on Wed., April 6, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 18033 15 th Place NE, Shoreline: Viewing to begin at 9:30a.m. with Rosary starting at 10a.m.; Funeral Mass followed by Reception to begin at 11a.m.; followed by Entombment at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline, WA. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to St. Mark Catholic School Fund; Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rosyln, WA; or Seattle Medic 1 Foundation.
