Roland Andrew Gribaudo

Roland Gribaudo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at age 83. He was born in Seattle, Washington to Rose and Louis Gribaudo. After serving in WWII with the U.S. Coast Guard, Roland married his high school sweetheart, Mary (Lil) Alia. The two celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in June of this year.Raising their three children, they moved the family to Mercer Island, Washington in 1959. Roland was an Italian Sausage Maker for Torino Sausage Company.He is survived by his wife Lil, son Michael (Kyong) and daughters Rosemary (Walt) and Julianne (Bart), five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, October 29 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 730 6th Ave. N in Edmonds, followed by a celebration of life in the parish hall. The inurment will be held on Friday, October 30, 10:30 am at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
