Samuel Francis Lehtinen age 70, born in Seattle Washington, February 23, 1942 to William and Anne (Heider) Lehtinen passed away on April 29, 2012 from ALS. He is survived by his wife Brenda (Pierce) Lehtinen; children: Sam, Larry and Donna (Frei); and grandchildren: Jason, Blake, Derrick and Sam; his brothers: Bill, Phil, Paul, and Don; and sisters: Jean Anne (McVay), Sister Jean Marie, and Chris (Singleterry). Sam served in the Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963. He was self-employed, owner of Key Industries. He was a life member of the NRA. For years after retirement, he worked on the restoration of a Boeing B-29 bomber for the Museum of Flight. Family and friends will gather for a memorial at the home of Bill Lehtinen at 19117 2nd Ave. SE. Bothell, May 4, 2012 from 2 - 4 pm. No funeral.
