Severino (Ching) Blas Blascoa

Severino (Ching) Blas Blascoa was born in San Pablo City, Laguna Philippines on December 9, 1942. He passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the age of 83. 

He leaves behind his wife Tonette, sister Milagros, sister Lily, niece Julie, and nephew John. 

He is preceded in death by his father William Liama Coa and mother Leonora Blas. 

He graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1966. In 1968, he migrated to the US where he worked at Boeing and retired with Neudorfer Engineers. 

While he was known to be quiet and a man of few words, he never failed to use his wittiness and sense of humor to make the whole room smile. As a person of deep faith, he was abundantly kind and willing to help others. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday September 30, 2026 from 2 pm - 8 pm at Beck’s Tribute Center 405 5th Ave S, Edmonds, WA 98020 and a Funeral Mass on Thursday October 1, 2026 at 10:30 am at Holy Rosary Parish Church 630 7th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020. Reception to follow Mass at Holy Rosary Pastoral Center. Interment is at 1:30 PM at Holyrood Cemetery 205 NE 205th St, Shoreline, WA 98155.
